Four more RD Women’s University students test COVID-19 positive

Bhubaneswar: Four more students of the Rama Devi (RD) Women’s University tested COVID-19 positive taking total number of infectees to nine at the premier educational institution.

Of four new infectees, two students are the inmates of hostels of the university. The four infected students have been asked to quarantine themselves to prevent further spread of infection.

As per the Government order, the hostels of all educational institutions will be closed from April 19. However, the fresh detection of COVID cases from the hostels of the State’s women’s university has created panic among other inmates.

Earlier, four students and one lecturer had contracted the COVID-19 infection on premises of the RD Women’s University.
