Railways have decided to run four pairs of long distance trains Guwahati-Chennai-Guwahati weekly Express, Dibrugarh-Chennai-Dibrugarh weekly Express, Howrah-Kanyakumari-Howrah weekly Express and Howrah-Tiruchirapalli-Howrah bi-weekly Express through Cuttack instead of Naraj.
According to a press release issued by the East Coast Railways (ECoR) here on Saturday all these trains will arrive Cuttack at 2155hrs and will leave at 2200hrs towards southern part of India and in the return direction, these trains will arrive Cuttack at 1930hrs and will leave at 1935hrs towards Howrah and North-East part of the country.
While 15630 Guwahati-Chennai Express will provide stoppage at Cuttack with effect from November 18, in the return direction, 15629 Chennai-Guwahati Express will provide stoppage with effect from November 21.
Similarly, 15930 Dibrugarh-Chennai Express will provide stoppage at Cuttack with effect from November 20 and in the return direction, 15929 Chennai-Guwahati Express will provide stoppage with effect from November 17.
Besides, 12665 Howrah-Kanyakumari Express will provide stoppage at Cuttack with effect from November 21 and in the return direction, 12666 Kanyakumari-Howrah Express will provide stoppage with effect from November 19.
Moreover, 12663 Howrah-Ernakulam Express will provide stoppage at Cuttack with effect from November 17, and in the return direction 12664 Ernakulam-Howrah Express will provide stoppage with effect from November 15.
