Fraud complaint against Rajesh Pati in Odisha’s Baripada

A man has filed a police complaint against realtor-turned-Ollywood producer Rajesh Ranjan Pati at a police station in district headquarters town of Odisha’s Mayurbhanj for allegedly duping him of lakhs of rupees.

According to reports, the complainant Srikant Rout has filed a complaint with Town Police Station here today for allegedly defrauding him of over Rs 15 lakhs in the promise of making him his business partner.

Rajesh had allegedly asked Srikant to invest in his real estate company in Bhubaneswar with a promise to make him a partner. However, he did not fulfil his promises, sources said.

Notably, Srikant is a Baripada-based businessman.

It may be recalled that Rajesh was in news in connection with casting couch controversy involving actor Upasana Mohanty.

The producer of a bilingual move ‘Gudia Rani’ had alleged that Upasana was threatening him to falsely implicate in casting couch case every time he asked to return his money given as advance for a movie project.
