Free Recharge Offer: Reliance Jio users must know these details

Bhubaneswar: Attention Jio subscribers! Here’s a piece of information doing rounds in social media saying that Reliance Jio is offering Rs 498 Free Recharge to its users.

The message being shared on WhatsApp, Facebook and other social media platforms says “Free 498 Recharge For all Jio users” with a picture of Reliance Jio Chairman Mukesh Ambani.

To avail the scheme, the website, www. jiooffers.online asks Jio users to fill name, mobile number and State. Thereafter, the website asks the users to forward the offer to five other Jio users through WhatsApp to avail the Rs 498 Free Recharge offer.

However, when someone forwards the offer on WhatsApp and provides all the required information to get the offer the recharge never happens. The website is designed in such a manner that it looks real.

As per the telecom policy of the country, the free recharge offer is never provided by any operator. Therefore, users are cautioned not to provide any personal information on the spam website as it can be used for various scam.
