Free transportation, accommodation for JEE, NEET examinees in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has decided to provide transportation and accommodation free of cost to the needy examinees of this year’s JEE and NEET in the state, informed Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy today.

The government will provide free transportation to those examinees who do not have any arrangement. District administrations have been apprised accordingly so that such examinees do not face any difficulty in transportation, the Chief Secretary said.

Free accommodation for needy examinees will be arranged at polytechnic institutes, engineering colleges and ITIs, Tripathy said. He urged the candidates to contact nearby nodal centres if they face any difficulty in transportation or accommodation.

There will be no restriction on movement of the candidates or their parents/guardians, the official said.

Transport facilities from district headquarters to exam centres will be provided free of cost. Candidates have been requested to contact the following Nodal Officers.
