Freight train derails in Odisha’s Koraput

Koraput: A freight train derailed near Manabar railway station in Odisha’s Koraput district last night.

According to reports, the train was heading towards Visakhapatnam from Kirandul in Chhattisgarh. As many as 12 wagons of the iron ore-laden train went off the track leading to the derailment.

Railways officials rushed to the spot on being informed and initiated restoration work.
