Bhubaneswar: A fresh cyclonic circulation is likely to form over the northwest and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal around September 12, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.
Under the influence of the system, several districts of the state are likely to receive rainfall.

September 11: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Angul, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Sambalpur and Boudh.
