Bhubaneswar: With Low Pressure Area over southeast Madhya Pradesh and neighbourhood becoming less marked, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar today forecasted that a fresh Low Pressure Area is likely to form over Bay of Bengal around July 19.

IMD predicted heavy rainfall during next five days and issued Yellow alert in several Odisha districts.

The highest maximum temperature of 36.4°C was recorded yesterday at Nuapada. The lowest minimum temperature of 23.0°C was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.

Light to moderate rain and thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of South Odisha and at a few places over the districts of North Odisha.

Yellow Warning: (Be Updated)-

Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, and Gajapati.

Light to moderate rain and thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of South Odisha and at a few places over the districts of North Odisha.

Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Koraput, and Malkangiri.
