Fresh low pressure likely over Bay of Bengal next week

Bhubaneswar: Odisha may witness rainfall in coming days as a fresh low pressure is likely to form over Bay of Bengal next week.

A low pressure area is likely to form over Southeast Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood around 9th November.

Well Marked Low Pressure Area likely to intensify into Depression over BoB during next 24 hours

The possible low pressure is likely to bring downpour over several districts in Odisha.

The MeT predicted no rainfall for Odisha during next five days. Rather, dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.

With total withdrawal of southwest monsoon from Odisha, dry weather prevailed over some districts in last 24 hours. Shallow to moderate fog occurred at one or two places over the districts of Nayagarh and Kalahandi yesterday.

There was no large change in minimum temperatures in all 30 districts. The temperature was above the normal at many places over south interior Odisha, at a few places over north interior Odisha and normal at elsewhere over rest of the State yesterday.
