This Friendship Day, celebrate ‘Yaari’ the musical way

Celebrating Friendship Day in a unique style is a group of young Odia boys, who have have come together to create a beautiful musical video. The song Rukh jaa tu ore lamhe kahe paglaye bhage jaye re is in Hindi, has been written by Biraj Rath, directed by his brother Binay and was released today in the Youtube.

This song showcases the love and bonding of four friends who understand each other’s tensions and frustrations. Their lives are filled with a lot of stress and worries relating to different aspects. Friends, who are believed to be invisible strengths that cushion every fall and rejuvenate life with undiluted care and support.

“Friendship is a very simple but powerful word which unites relationships. We wanted to celebrate Friendship Day in a unique style and decided to do a music video together. Abhijit, Sourav and Debikalyan, my childhood friends acted and have lent their voices with me in this video. We all are professionals working in different fields but the common thread between us is our love for music. This is why we have come together to form United Misfits, a production company where we make good music,” said Biraj, a software engineer.

“Cinematography has been done by Smikaash, Basudev and Anurag who are our friends from school. We shot the video in Odisha and have tried to show how beautiful our state is,”said Binay, who is a doctor by profession. The video has been edited by Manas kumar Sahoo.
