‘Gangs of Puri’ makers announce their next ‘Gangs of Berhampur’

Bhubaneswar: After the success of Odia TV series ‘Gangs of Puri’, a ‘Kanccha Lannka’ original, its makers have announced their next project ‘Gangs of Berhampur’.

Filmmakers Anupam Patnaik and Barsha Patnaik have announced that they have started working on their upcoming mega web series and said it would be another reason to cheer for Odia content viewers across the world.

‘Gangs of Berhampur’, to be created by Anupam Patnaik and Barsha Patnaik’s Technoart Productionz, will be streamed on Odia OTT platform ‘Kanccha Lannka’.

“Premised on the underbelly and internal wars, Gangs of Berhampur will be bigger, better and spicier in content,” said Anupam Patnaik.

The gangster thriller will give its viewers a sneak peek into the local flavours of Berhampur city and flamboyance and swag of its residents, along with a bold narrative and stylish packaging, the makers assured.

“The success of ‘Gangs of Puri’ has added extra responsibility and commitment on our shoulders. So, we’re putting best efforts to excel and touch the hearts of people of Odisha with our upcoming web series. Hoping, we would receive as much love and appreciation from our audience as we’d received with ‘Gangs of Puri,” said Anupam Patnaik.

Akshay Kumar Parija, founder and chairman of ‘Kanccha Lannka’ said that the upcoming web series would be raising the bar of entertainment in Odia language.

‘Gangs of Puri’ will soon stream on ‘Kanccha Lannka’ Odia entertainment app.
