Ganjam Collector turns good samaritan, rescues road accident victim

Berhampur: Going beyond the call of duty, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange today rescued a road accident victim at Marudi Chhak in Seragada area of the district.

The bureaucrat was returning from a programme in a car this morning when he saw a youth in a critically injured state as a motorcycle driven by the victim was hit by an auto-rickshaw.

The collector alighted from the car and took the victim to the Hinjili Government Hospital in the vehicle for treatment. Kulange’s exemplary act has won accolades from many.
