Girl found hanging under mysterious circumstances in lodging house in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: A girl was found hanging under mysterious circumstances in a lodging house in Odisha capital here today.

The girl was found hanging in room no. 205 of a lodging house of a bar near Laxmisagar Square on Cuttack-Puri road here, sources said.

The deceased has been identified as Subhalaxmi Sahu of Kuabagh Sahi in Bhadrak district, sources added.

The girl had reportedly checked into the lodging house at 3.20 pm yesterday.

On being informed, Laxmisagar police reached the spot and began a probe into the incident.

“The body will be recovered in the presence of the girl’s family member tomorrow (August 6),” said a police officer.
