Girl student found dead in residential college in Odisha, murder alleged

Kendrapara: A girl student was found dead in a residential college at Duhuria under Sadar police limits in Odisha’s Kendrapara district last evening. The deceased hailed from Paradeep area.

According to reports, a staffer of the hostel spotted the girl lying unconsciously in her room. She was rushed to the Kendrapara district headquarters hospital, where doctor declared her dead.

Though the reason behind the death of the girl is yet to be ascertained, her mother has lodged a police complaint alleging that her daughter was murdered. Investigation into the incident is underway.
