Girl student raped inside hotel in Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: Police has arrested one person after a girl student was allegedly raped in a hotel in Madhupatna area of Cuttack district on Friday. The incident came to light after the girl filed a complaint with Madhupatna police basing on which one of the hotel employees was arrested.

As per reports, the girl is from outside Odisha and was raped in one of the hotel rooms. While police have arrested the hotel employee in this connection, they said investigation is underway to find out involvement of other persons in this case. Further details are awaited.
