Girl's body found hanging in Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: The body of a girl was found hanging from a house under mysterious circumstances in Mancheswar area of Bhubaneswar on Monday evening. Though the exact cause of death is not established yet, it is suspected to be a case of suicide.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the girl belonged to Uttar Pradesh and was living in the house on rent in Srirampur slum within Mancheswar police limits here. The house owner shared that the girl was staying with them as a caretaker for their child.

On Monday evening, when she did not turn up, the house owner looked for her but found the room locked from outside and her body hanging from a fan.

Police on getting information reached the spot and started investigation. A case of un-natural death has been registered.
