Glimpses of Cuttack Baisakhi Banijya Mela

The scorching Odisha summer heat has not dampened the enthusiasm for Cuttack Baisakhi Banijya Mela. Hundreds of people are making a beeline for the local fair which is also fondly known as mini-Balijatra. This nine days fair which started on April 2nd  is going on at the historical Balijatra ground in the silver city of Odisha. As many as 450 stalls including 80 corporate houses have a presence in the ground this year. Shoppers have a wide choice of products from various parts of the country like Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi.
