Goods train rams into rest shed at Jajpur Road Station

Jajpur: A goods train en-route to Kharagpur from Khordha today rammed into a rest shed at platform-3 of Jajpur Road Station in Jajpur district early this morning.

However, no injuries or casualty was reported in the incident.

Sources said the coal-laden train left the Khordha Road Station and was moving towards Kharagpur of West Bengal in wee hours today. However, the train tilted down and hit a rest shed at Platform-3 of Jajpur Road station at around 5 AM today.

A major mishap was averted as the rest shed was vacant at that time.
