Govt offices in Odisha’s twin cities to function with full strength from Feb

Bhubaneswar: All Odisha Government offices in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, which were earlier functioning with 50 percent strength due to the COVID-19 pandemic, have been directed to run with full strength from February.

“All Departments of the State Government and sub-ordinate offices of the state in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack shall function with full strength of officers & staff, with effect from 01.02.2021 until further orders,” an order of the General Administration & Public Grievance Department said.

All Odisha Government offices throughout the State will remain closed on Saturdays, the order said.

In case any Department or office is constrained in maintaining physical distancing among staff members as a result of 100 percent attendance, they may regulate the staff strength, as felt necessary, it said.

All COVID-19 precautionary measures shall be strictly followed by the departments as well as the employees, it added.
