Bhubaneswar: People of Odisha will be able to avail services online without visiting government offices from August 15, 2020, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Odisha Assembly today.
During a debate on the Motion of thanks to the Governor’s address, the Chief Minister said people will have the option of online services or professionally run common service centre or door delivery to avail the services. He further informed that all the departments will be brought under the ‘Mo Sakar’ initiative by March 5, 2020.
The State government has decided to provide all wage payments through bank accounts from April 1.
In his statement, the CM said people-centric governance is the mantra of democracy. His government’s main focus is employment and value addition on a big scale comparable to the best in the world, the CM said.
