Govt teacher under Odisha Vigilance scanner for possessing DA

Paralakhemundi: Dushmanta Nayak, an Assistant Teacher at Government Upper Primary School, S Routpur under Gosani block of Odisha’s Gajapati district landed in trouble as Vigilance officials today raided several places over allegation against him regarding possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The Vigilance sleuths carried out simultaneous searches at Nayak’s residence at Erdala street here, native place at Jangalpadu village under Gurandi police limits in the district, house of relative at Gunupur in Rayagada district, office of the school, and seven other houses here belonging to Nayak.

The raids were conducted on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur. The searches were underway till the filing of this report.
