Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej meets Odisha CM

Bhubaneswar: Three-time Grammy Award winner and Indian music composer and producer Ricky Kej met Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here today.

CM Patnaik congratulated the veteran music maestro on grabbing his career’s third Grammy at the recently concluded Grammy Awards.

During meeting at Naveen Niwas, Chief Minister’s residence in Bhubaneswar, both made brief conversation.

The CM expressed his gratitude to Ricky Kej for his contribution to ‘Mandia’ song recently released by Odisha on the occasion of International Year of Millets.

He along with Ricky and other officials watch a special documentary on Odisha’s success in Millet Mission.

Patnaik also presented Hockey India’s jersey to Ricky wishing him for more success in his future endeavor.

Recently, music composer Ricky Kej had bagged his career’s third Grammy for ‘Divine Tides’, which was nominated in the Best Immersive Audio Album category. The album ‘Divine Tides’ is a collaborative project with rock-legend and Police drummer Stewart Copeland.
