Grammy winner Ricky Kej composes theme song of Odisha Millets Mission [Watch]

Bhubaneswar: Grammy Award winner and acclaimed composer-producer Ricky Kej has composed the theme song of Odisha Millets Mission.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today shared the song namely 'The Mandia Song' on social media platforms.

Patnaik thanked Kej and Department of Agriculture & Farmers' Empowerment for the song on Mandia to popularize millets.

Odisha Millets Mission is a pioneering initiative to bring back climate resilient grain in our fields and plates, the CM said.

Odisha Millets Mission is a flagship programme of Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment. Special Programme for Promotion of Millets in Tribal Areas of Odisha (Odisha Millets Mission) was launched by the Government of Odisha in 2017 to revive millets in farms and on plates.

The Government of India has asked all states to adopt Odisha Millets Mission model for promotion of millets, pulses and oilseeds.
