GRS caught taking bribe in Odisha’s Puri  

Pipili:  The Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) of Sukala Gram Panchayat under Satyabadi block in Puri district was today arrested by Vigilance officials for allegedly demanding and accepting bribe.

Sources said GRS Chhabi Narayan Panda had demanded Rs 5,000 from one Indramani Panda of Banbarada village to help him get a pucca house under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana. The beneficiary later brought the matter before the anti-graft officials.

Later, Vigilance officials laid a trap and caught Panda red-handed while he was accepting the bribe money near Chandanpur police station this morning.
