Hailstorm may lash these districts of Odisha today as IMD issues Orange Warning

Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to experience hailstorm today as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued Orange Warning in this regard.

Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph and hailstorm very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Jajpur, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kendrapara, the IMD predicted and issued Orange Warning for these districts.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Kandhamal, Puri, Ganjam, Khurda, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Kalahandi, Jagatsinghpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir and Nuapada, the IMD forecasted and issued Yellow Warning for these districts.

Temperature Forecast: Maximum temperature (day temperature) very likely to rise gradually by 2-4 degree Celsius during the next 3 days and no large change thereafter.
