Happy World Asthma Day 2022 Wishes, Messages, Greetings

World Asthma Day (WAD) is organized by Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) towards increasing awareness about asthma and its management across the world. It is observed every year on first Tuesday of May. On this day activities are carried out throughout the world to motivate asthma patients to keep their asthma under control.

World Asthma Day 2022 Theme: GINA has chosen ‘Closing Gaps in Asthma Care‘ as the theme for the 2022 World Asthma Day.

Asthma is a disease characterized by recurrent attacks of breathlessness, wheezing, chest tightness, and cough that vary over time in their occurrence, severity and frequency. During an asthma attack, the lining of the airways swell, causing the air passages to narrow and thus reducing the flow of air into and out of the lungs.
