HDFC Bank opens branch in Odisha’s Phulbani

HDFC Bank Ltd today opened a branch at Odisha’s Phulbani. The new branch will offer the full range of world-class banking solutions to meet the needs of the local population, bank officials said.

The new branch is located at Ganesh Bazar on the Main Road in Phulbani. lt will remain open six days a week and offer residents the flexibility to carry out their banking transactions at the time most convenient to them.

With this launch, HDFC Bank now has a network of 108 branches across Odisha and this is the third branch in the town.

“Our extensive branch network reiterates our commitment to take formal banking services to every part of Odisha. This brings us closer to our customers. In offering them our full range of banking services, we hope to make a difference in their daily lives,” said Senapati D, Zonal Head of HDFC Bank Odisha speaking on the occasion.

As of December 31, 2014, the Bank had a distribution network with 3,659 branches and 11,633 ATMs in 2,287 cities/towns. At a national level, the Bank has 56% of its branches in semi-urban and rural areas and is continuously extending its reach in the hinterland in its endeavour to support inclusive growth.

The new branch will offer customers world-class banking services under one roof ranging from basic services such as savings account, fixed deposits, current account, mutual funds, insurance, two-wheeler loan, auto loan to sophisticated direct access banking channels such as ATM, Phone Banking, NetBanking and International Credit and Debit Cards.
