Head-on collision between 3 cars in Odisha; 12 injured

Nayagarh: A road accident between three cars in Kaliapada area of Aadakata under Daspalla police limits here, left 12 injured early this morning.

According to reports, two cars with wedding guests were returning from Bijipur near Kantilo after attending a wedding ceremony there, with one car in the front and the other behind the first.

A third car speeding from the opposite direction hit the first car and the impact of it resulted in the second car ramming into the rear of the first car. All the three cars have sustained damage and injured a total of 12 persons in the mishap.

Locals rescued the victims and rushed them to the Daspalla Community Health Centre. Seven of the victims whoa re critically injured have been shifted to Nayagarh District Headquarters Hospital.
