Healthy food on the go with new snack delivery service in Odisha’s twin cities

Bhubaneswar: With the denizens of twin cities slowly getting conscious about fitness and wellness, an innovative food delivery service called Froot E Lite has taken it upon itself to deliver packaged healthy food in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

From salads to pasta, sprouted grams to omelettes, sandwiches to seasonal juices, this venture is open from 8 am to 10 pm and caters to all those who are consciously trying to eat healthy, especially, add to their nutrition content and beat tiny hunger pangs between meals.

“We did extensive research on food preferences and nutrition practices in Bhubaneswar with respect to Tier A cities like Mumbai and New Delhi. It’s high time, people of the Smart City have the option of healthy food being delivered at their doorstep,” said Ankit Mohanty, the proprietor of Froot e Lite.

The single outlet at a business school in Odisha capital is quickly gaining popularity among corporates, college students and other fitness conscious individuals.

With freshness, variety and nutrition content topping the priority list, besides local chefs with varied experience in healthy cuisine, food consultants have been roped in from Kolkata and Bengaluru to keep an eye on the preparations.

Low on calories and delivered in neat containers, Froot e Lite is a must-try option when one is craving for fruit salad or a brown bread-omelette combo. While free home delivery is applicable for orders above Rs.200, regular customers can opt for monthly, quarterly and half-yearly packages at a discounted rate, as well.

“We also serve in nursing homes and have plans for collaborating with gyms and opening up other outlets to keep up with the growing food orders,” added Ankit.
