Heat stroke hits cool Buddhaditya Mohanty in Dubai

Bhubaneswar, July 21:

In a shoot for a romantic song sequence for the latest Akshay Parija film ‘Bye Bye Dubai’, noted film actor Buddhaditya Mohanty fell ill due to dehydration. He had to be hospitalized for sometime as he suffered from high fever and vomiting caused due to the intense heat. Even though weak he has recovered and is back to shooting.

Bye Bye Dubai is the first Odia film which has a few scenes shot in the City of Gold – Dubai. Akshay Parija has always done something new and exciting where Odia movies are concerned and this time he has taken the initiative to shoot the beautiful song Ajana Aei Sahara in the global city Dubai.

Actors Archita Sahu and Sabyasachi Mishra are also shooting for the same film. The much awaited film is being directed by award winning director Basant Sahoo with cameramen Sashi Kumar and Sai Kant, choreographer Swarnalatha, make-up artist Satya Patra, costume designer Koti and camera assistant Saroj Kumar Mohanty .

Professor Sambhram Pattanayak from the Department of Media & Communication of  Manipal University of Design and Communications of the Dubai campus helped with locations and his students assisted as production crew. “This was a great learning experience for the students and I am happy that they got an industry experience working in a Odia movie,” said Sambhram who hails from Cuttack.

The romantic song sequence Ajana Aei Sahara is expected to be of international standard encompassing the beauty, glamour and glitz of the city. The song has been composed by Bikash Das and the music rights have been acquired by Amara Muzik.
