Heat wave warning for 8 Odisha districts today; Check forecast

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre here has issued heat wave warning for as many as eight districts of Odisha for today.

Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sambalpur, Sonepur, Bargarh, Bolangir, Nuapada, Boudh, Jharsuguda and Kalahandi, the Meteorological Centre forecasted.

People of the areas have been advised to take precautionary measures while going outside during day time.

Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Gajapati and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha, the Meteorological Centre added.

Temperature Forecast: No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) at many places over the districts of Odisha during the next 3-4 days.
