Heat wave warning issued for these Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre today issued heat wave warning for Cuttack, Nayagarh and Khurda districts of Odisha till 8.30 am of March 28.

“Heat wave condition likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Cuttack, Nayagarh and Khurda,” it said and issued Yellow Warning for these areas.

“No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) over the districts of Odisha during next 4-5 days. Also maximum temperature (day temperature) is very likely to be above normal by 3-4 degree Celsius at many places over the districts of Odisha including Bhubaneswar city during next 4-5 days,” it added.

The Meteorological Centre also issued thunderstorm and lightning warning for Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, and Jagatsinghpur districts on March 28.

It also forecasted the same for Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak districts on March 29.
