Heavy rain likely in these Odisha districts tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall in several districts of Odisha on June 27 (Tuesday).

Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nabarangapur, Kalahandi, Koraput, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, Bolangir, Bargarh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Deogarh on June 27 due to the influence of a low pressure area created over North Odisha and neighbourhood, said the IMD in its weather bulletin today.

As per the IMD prediction, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of North Odisha and at many places over the districts of South Odisha on the day.

The IMD had earlier predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sundargarh and Sambalpur and at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Bolangir, Boudh, Angul, Sonepur, Deogarh and Keonjhar till 8.30 am Tuesday (June 27). It has issued an orange warning in this regard.
