Bhubaneswar: A cyclonic circulation over west-central Bay of Bengal is likely to cause heavy to very heavy rainfall across Odisha from July 6, the Regional Meteorological Centre predicted.
While some parts of southern Odisha is likely to experience rainfall on July 5, the intensity of rain would increase on July 6 across the state. The Meteorological Centre has also alerted the State Government of possible flood situation due to heavy showers.
Moderate rainfall in coastal Odisha and heavy rainfall in south and west Odisha is likely to occur. The intense downpour would continue for 3-4 days, the Meteorological Centre forecasted.
