Heavy rainfall alert for these Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: Heavy rain will continue to lash several parts of the state today, as per the forecast of India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Centre here.

Issuing Yellow Warning, the MeT Centre said 7 cm to 11 cm of rainfall is likely  to lash parts of eight districts across the state till 8.30 am tomorrow.

The districts likely to be affected are–Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Boudh, Malkangiri and Koraput.

Due to a low pressure area over north Odisha and neighbourhood, the state is witnessing heavy rainfall activity, the weathermen said.
