Heavy rainfall to pound these Odisha districts during next 5 days

Bhubaneswar: Amidst possible cyclonic storm brewing over the Bay of Bengal, the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, predicted heavy rainfall for several places including coastal districts during next 5 days.

The weathermen have forecast rainfall and issued yellow warning till May 26 morning.

Day 1 (valid upto 8.30 AM of May 22):

Warning: Heavy rainfall likely at isolated places over the districts of Gajapati, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Jajpur and Bhadrak.

Thunderstorm with lightning with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph likely to occur at one or two isolated places over the districts of Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri.
