Bhubaneswar: Due to a Monsoon Trough and under the influence of a Low-Pressure Area formed over North Interior Odisha, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of Interior Odisha and at many places over the districts of Coastal Odisha. India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre today issued Yellow Warning for the next five days.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD regional centre mentioned, “Southwest monsoon has been active over Odisha. A cyclonic circulation is likely to form over Northwest Bay of Bengal within 48 hours.”

The highest maximum temperature of 32.8oC was recorded at Paralekhemundi and the lowest minimum temperature of 18.5oC was recorded at Boudh in the plains of Odisha.

Yellow Warning (Be Updated)- Heavy to very heavy Rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi and Bolangir.

For Tuesday (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 18.07.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 19.07.2023)

Yellow Warning (Be Updated)- Heavy Rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam and Puri.
