Here’re nine B-town celebs who opted for surrogacy

Mumbai/Bhubaneswar: Bollywood celebrities have been adopting unconventional ways to get parenthood. While some of them opted surrogacy, others adopt child.

Recently, Preity Zinta and husband Gene Goodenough took to the Twitter announcing their parenthood through surrogacy.

Here’s a compilation of nine B-town celebs who have opted for similar method to achieve parenthood.

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan

In May 2013, Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan welcomed their third child, AbRam Khan, through surrogacy. AbRam is the couple’s youngest child.

Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao

Aamir already had two kids, Unaid and Ira with his first wife, Reena before marrying Kiran Rao. Since Kiran suffered from a miscarriage and other complications, Aamir and Kiran decided to have a child through IVF surrogacy. In 2011, they welcomed a baby boy named Azad Rao.

Tusshar Kapoor

Tusshar Kapoor underwent surrogacy as he chose to be a single father. His son Laksshya Kapoor was born in June 2016.

Ekta Kapoor

Producer Ekta Kapoor became a single mother to her son Ravie in January 2019 via surrogacy.

Karan Johar

In February 2017, Director Karan Johar welcomed his twins through surrogacy. He christened them Roohi and Yash.

Sunny Leone and Daniel Weber

In 2017, Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Weber had adopted a girl named Nisha. A year later she surprised everyone by announcing theat they welcomed their twins Noah and Asher, who were born through surrogacy.

Shilpa Shetty

In early 2020, Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra had their little daughter, Samisha Shetty Kundra through surrogacy.

Shreyas Talpade

Actor Shreyas Talpade and wife Deepti achieved parenthood through surrogacy in May 2018. They named their daughter Aadya.

Preity Zinta

The latest couple on the list is Preity Zinta and her husband Gene Goodenough. On November 18, Preity shared an update about her life on Twitter. She stated how happy and grateful she has been feeling by welcoming her twins – Jai Zinta Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough in the world.
