Here’re Odisha districts to experience rain on Diwali

Bhubaneswar: Spell of rain may dampen festive mood on Diwali as the thunderstorm is in forecast for several districts today.

As many as eight districts of southern and central regions of the state may experience thunderstorm and lightning by this evening, according to regional meteorological centre.

“Moderate thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rainfall likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nayagarh and Kandhamal,” said Bhubaneswar MeT in a release.

Such weather condition may prevail in these districts between 3.00 pm and 6.00 pm today.
