Here’re traffic restrictions for I-Day parade in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Traffic restrictions will be imposed by the Twin City Commissionerate Police in Odisha capital ahead of the State-level Independence Day parade and its full dress rehearsal at the IDCO Exhibition Ground here.

The restrictions will be effective on August 13 from 7 AM to 11 AM and on August 15 from 6.30 AM till completion of the parade.

No heavy vehicles (except two wheelers and light vehicles) shall be allowed to ply from Acharya Vihar square to A.G. Square and Vani vihar square to Master Canteen. Madhusudan Marg, from Ram Mandir Square to Housing Board Square, will remain closed for the general public.

Those coming from Vani Vihar side intending to go towards Housing Board Square from Ram Mandir side will go straight towards Master canteen and then take diversion towards Lower PMG.

Those coming from Acharya Vihar side towards Housing Board Square and intending to go towards Ram Mandir will go straight towards PMG Square and take diversion towards Master Canteen Square.

In and outside of Keshari Talkies, Capital High School field, Unit-IV A.G. field, parking space of SBI, Unit-IV and IG park have been designated as parking places during the period.

Selling of gas balloons has been strictly prohibited in the area near to Madhusudan Marg between Ram Mandir Square to Housing Board Square on August 15 from 6.30 AM till the parade is over.
