Here’s what Dama Rout says after quitting BJP in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Barely seven months after joining Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), senior leader and former Odisha Minister Damodar Rout resigned from the saffron party today.

The septuagenarian leader, who alleged that BJP does not need him in any kind of party programme or decision-making process, says that he is not able to get fit into the mainstream politics as all political parties are hungry for money and power these days. However, the former BJD leader, who was active in state politics for as long as 45 years, says he would continue to serve the people of Odisha for the rest of his life.
