The PLGA week will end on December 9.
"We have ordered a high alert along the border in Nuapada, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri and Koraput districts (of Odisha)," a police officer told IANS.
A large number of security personnel have been pressed into action for combing operations in areas known as Maoist strongholds, Inspector General of Police, south-western range, Yashwant Jethwa told IANS.
He said the combing operations might start based on intelligence inputs. (IANS)
