The IPS officer’s daughter and his wife were coming in a Swift car. They were asked by a lady traffic cop to stop their vehicle at AG Square when the they tried to violate the rule, a source said.

“The traffic constable slapped on my face and pushed me inside the car,” the girl told the media.

Later, the traffic constable apologised, she added.
