High drama during man’s 2nd marriage on Bhubaneswar outskirts as first wife reaches venue

Bhubaneswar: High drama unfolded at Dulla Devi Temple in Balakati area on the outskirts of Odisha capital as a man’s second marriage was underway, during which his first wife reached the venue.

According to reports, Jogesh Hati of Patapur village under Jankia police limits had married Ahalya Hati of Ganeswarpur village under Erasama in 2010. The couple has a 12-year-old daughter and a three-year-old daughter.

Jogesh later developed relationship with another woman. While he was marrying the woman at the temple today without the knowledge of his family members, his first wife Ahalya reached there along with their two daughters.

Ahalya created ruckus at the spot and thrashed her husband. On being informed by her, police reached the place and detained him at Balakati police outpost for questioning.
