High humidity leaves residents in Bhubaneswar sweating in discomfort

Bhubaneswar: Amid scorching heat, high humidity made life more miserable in Bhubaneswar. The capital city woke up to high humidity with more than 90% in the morning.

As per regional meteorological centre of IMD, the temperature was 30.2 degree Celsius with 92% humidity by 5.30 am in Bhubaneswar.

By 8.30 am, the temperature recorded 34.2 degree C. During the period, the humidity level stood at 73% in the city leaving residents sweating in discomfort.

People of Bhubaneswar have been experiencing humid weather since last night.

According to Bhubaneswar MeT, there will not be large change in day temperature for next three days.

The heatwave conditions are likely to prevail in many parts of Odisha till June 18. In some districts, the temperature may shoot up by 5-7 degree C than normal days.
