HIGHEST-EVER spike of 8386 COVID cases in Odisha; Khurda reports 1840 infections

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 situation in Odisha has reached an alarming stage as the state reported its highest-ever spike of 8386 cases in the last 24 hours.

Khurda district registered a mammoth 1840 fresh cases, followed by Sundargarh (933) and Cuttack (496).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state mounted to 428515.
