Bhubaneswar: COVID-19 tally in Odisha surged to 139121 as the state reported the highest ever single-day spike of 3991 new COVID cases, official sources said today.
Out of the 3991 fresh cases, 2315 were detected in quarantine while 1676 are local contact cases.
Khordha district reported the highest number of new COVID-19 caes (687).
With this, the number of active COVID-19 cases in Odisha mounted to 33182 while 105295 persons have recovered from the disease so far.
