Bhubaneswar: Number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha crossed 60,000-mark and mounted to 60050 as a record 2924 more persons from 30 districts tested positive for the virus, official sources said today.
Out of the 2924 cases, 1815 were detected in quarantine while 1109 are local contact cases. Khordha district reported the maximum number of cases (488).
With this, the number of active cases in the state rose to 18928 while 40726 persons have recovered from the disease so far.
Worth mentioning, highest number of 52,795 samples were tested in the state yesterday.
