Hockey Gangpur Odisha won the 5th Hockey India Junior Women’s National Championship (Division-B) title after they beat Hockey Patiala by 2-1 goals in the final at Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh today.

The Odisha eves, who took control of the game right from the start, scored the first goal after Rinki Kujur converted a penalty corner in the sixth minute while Janhabi Pradhan scored a brilliant field goal in the 23^rd minute.

For Hockey Patiala, Manpreet scored the only goal in 60^th minute through a penalty corner.

With this win, Hockey Gangpur have qualified for the Division-A Championship.
