Hockey stars Lilima-Stanli get engaged

Bhubaneswar: Hockey stars Lilima Minz and Stanli Victor Minz are all set to begin a new innings of life together as the couple got engaged on Friday.

The engagement ceremony was held in a low-key manner in presence of family members from both sides at Lilima’s village Bihabandh-Tanatoli under Lanjiberna block in Sundargarh district yesterday evening. The date for marriage will be fixed soon.

In January this year, Indian hockey women’s team midfielder Lilima Minz had announced her retirement, ending her decade-long stint in the sport.

After retirement, the 27-year-old Lilima got engaged with Stanli, who is currently the coach of ECoR hockey team.
